Elsanta is due to the upright growing plant, the very high production, good firmness and good shelf life of the fruit, very suitable for growers and trade. The productivity is very high. Elsanta has a good taste and a strong strawberry aroma. It is still one of the most cultivated varieties in Europa. Elsanta is not susceptible to fruit rot, quite susceptible to mildew, phytopthora cactorum, red root rot and colletotrichum, and highly susceptible to wilt disease.
