Vitalim

Vitalim is an early 100% male hybrid variety, suited as a white asparagus for regions with mild climates. Vitalim is particularly well-suited for early cultivation methods (thermal foil or a mini-tunnel). It boasts very high yield potential and good spear thickness. The uniform asparagus is break-resistant, has a tight head closure, and is hardly susceptible to rust. Vitalim's flavour is considered exceptionally good. Its vigorous foliage is strongly upright and naturally resistant to leaf diseases. Thanks to these excellent foliage characteristics, Vitalim is also suitable for organic farming and for replanting. A planting density of 4-5 plants per meter is recommended.
