Ramires is a 100% male hybrid suited for growing both white and green asparagus. It can be planted in both sandy and loamy soils. The spears are straight with a firm tip. Compared to other early varieties. Ramires has a large stem diameter. Ramires has a very good flavour, and the spears will not break easily. The foliage of this variety is of medium height but firm. A planting density of 4-5 plants per meter is recommended.
